Accessibility Statement
What we have done, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us.
Last updated 15 September 2026
Our aim
We want this store to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not a later pass.
What we have done
- Descriptive alternative text on images, with decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Interactive components built on accessible primitives, so focus handling and ARIA wiring behave as expected.
- Labelled controls for cart quantity, filters, and navigation.
- Filtering and navigation that work as ordinary links, so they function without JavaScript.
- Respect for the reduce-motion setting, which neutralises our animations.
Known issues
We would rather name these than imply full conformance:
- There is no skip-to-content link, so keyboard users pass through the full navigation on every page.
- Checkout fields rely on placeholder text rather than persistent visible labels.
- Checkout errors are not announced to screen readers.
- Product size and colour selection conveys its selected state largely through colour.
- The search control in the header is not yet functional.
These are on our list to fix.
Tell us
If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, please contact us and describe what happened. We will fix it and tell you when we have.
