Our Craftsmanship

A shirt is judged at the collar and cuff. We use fused or interlined collars appropriate to the style, pattern-matched yokes where the cloth calls for it, and seams finished to hold their shape through repeated washing.

Structure is what separates a jacket that hangs from one that collapses. Canvas, padding, and lining are chosen per cloth weight so the piece drapes with the body instead of fighting it.

Welted construction allows a shoe to be resoled rather than replaced, which is the whole argument for buying well once. Cared for, a good pair outlasts several cheap ones.
